    Born in 1968, obtained a degree in Law from Himachal Pradesh University in 1993. After enrollment as an Advocate, practiced in the Courts at Shimla. Joined the Himachal Pradesh Judicial Services on 29.12.1997 and served as Sub Judge-cum-JMFC at Mandi, Amb, Barsar, Theog, Baijnath and Paonta Sahib. Joined as Civil Judge (Senior Division)-cum-CJM at Kangra at Dharamshala on 12.10.2010 and was subsequently posted at Mandi on 20.05.2013. Promoted as Additional District and Sessions Judge and posted at Hamirpur from 28.04.2014 to 22.12.2018 and at Solan from 29.12.2018 to 22.03.2019. On placement as District and Sessions Judge, served as Registrar (Rules), High Court of Himachal Pradesh, from 23.03.2019 to 07.03.2022. Posted as District and Sessions Judge, Kinnaur at Rampur, from 09.03.2022 to 23.08.2022 and thereafter as District and Sessions Judge, Kangra at Dharamshala, from 25.08.2022 to 29.04.2024. Served as Registrar (Vigilance), High Court of Himachal Pradesh, from 01.05.2024 to 17.10.2024. Thereafter, joined as District and Sessions Judge (Forest), Shimla, on 17.10.2024. On transfer, joined as District and Sessions Judge, Sirmaur at Nahan, on 17.09.2026.
